DIY Coasters

I just love this time of year. I would  love it even better if I had the summer off :) I'm very thankful for my job and wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm blessed to have such a great one.

I have been bringing summer into my home over the last couple of weeks. I thought what better than to throw in a little nautical looking coaster in the mix. So, I wanted to share with you a little DIY project that only take a few minutes to put together. You only need jute rope, glue gun and scissors.

Just start by wrapping and wrapping and wrapping. I went around 8 times in order to get the width that I wanted. You can adjust based on your wants and needs.

Add some mineral water, grapes and ice and you have yourself a little summertime snack!

I'm working on a few other summertime vignettes and I will share once I'm completed. At this rate I will be decorating for the 4th if I don't hurry! :) What are your plans for the summer?
