Fall on Hickory Trail

Oh how I love to feel the crisp Fall air. This weekend has been our first taste of Fall here in northeast Florida. I'm super excited to show you my Fall decor. I went simple this year, as we are in the process of listing our house on the market. Our realtor suggested minimal decor, but I still was able to show my Fall spirit. :)

I added some acorns to my Willow House tray and topped it with Fall embellishments.

Then, I went really simple on my mantel. I had a sway draped on it, but felt like it maybe to much for visitors coming in and out. (I'm not sure everyone is as into Fall decor as I)

Grapevine wreaths are very versatile. I use this all year round. I unwrapped the greenery I had on it and added nice Fall embellishments.

Happy Fall Y'all. You can find me linked to these fun parties.

Butterball Turkey Party

Happy Friday! I'm excited to share my Butterball Turkey party with you. I have teamed up with Butterball and hosted a little fun party at work today. I applied at the House Party website and got selected. I received a large package of goodies. Butterball supplied me with coupons, gift cards, reusable groceries bags, footballs, frisbees and magnets.

We had a blast today at lunch eating Butterball cold cuts, subs and sandwiches. We goofed around and just enjoyed ourselves.

My friend Delya insisted on being the "Turkey Queen"

You want "me" to play football?

Thank you so much Butterball for everything! We truly appreciate it!

I am participating in a sponsored party hosted by Butterball. I received goods in exchange for this participation. All opinions stated are my own!

College Student Needs (Sponsored Post)

Moving out and attending college is bittersweet for most young adults. Having to pay your own room and board, food and utilities, can be quite an adjustment. Recently, my step-daughter and her friend secured their own apartment. As if working full-time isn't enough, they are both enrolled and currently attending college as well. My husband and I took one Saturday to help them get settled in. He hung pictures, televisions, and hooked up all the electronics. Those things that can be a royal pain when you have no clue how to do it. Lending a helping hand goes along way when there is a genuine need, even if its as simple as hanging a picture.

If you want to see how other folks are doing their part to volunteer actively, I urge you to check out the Advil® Relief in Action program. The campaign honors and supports people who don’t let pain get in the way of helping others. Advil® is also donating to Habitat for Humanity and Wounded Warrior Project®  for every bottle sold. Advil®  is helping volunteers get the relief they need, and get back to giving back. If you want to share your own story of active volunteerism, post a photo on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and tag it with #ReliefinAction.
