Strawberry Nut Bread & Homemade Honey Butter

Well, you know those times when it rains consecutively for three days; baking seems to be the most enjoyable thing to do in order to pass the time? That is what it has been like since Thursday. I'm not complaining. I'm so very thankful for this rain. My lawn is singing.

I have also been working on a Mother's Day gift basket that I can't wait to share with you. However, since my mother reads my blog posts, (I love you, mama) I have to wait until I give it to her to post :). In the mean time, I whipped up some strawberry bread using the same banana nut bread recipe I shared with you a couple of weeks ago. Instead of the bananas I substituted strawberries. I also whipped up some honey butter to go along with this moist bread.

For the honey butter, you only need three ingredients.
  • 1 stick of Butter
  • 3-4 tablespoons of Honey
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
* Disclaimer - again I do not measure unless I'm baking. So the above ingredients are eyeballed :)

Cream all ingredients together with paddle attachment.
